Biography

Dr. Ramnath Raut is a highly accomplished physician with a specialization in General Medicine. He obtained his MD in Medicine from the prestigious B.J. Medical College in Pune. Following his post-graduation, he completed his residency in General Medicine at Sassoon General Hospital, Pune, under the guidance of Dr. D. B. Kadam.

During his academic journey, Dr. Raut achieved remarkable distinctions. He secured the first position in his batch of Medicine at BJMC Pune, showcasing his dedication and academic excellence. He was also honored with the Dr. Anandibai Joshi Gaurav Puraskar (First Prize) by the esteemed Health Minister, Dr. Vimaltai Mundada.

Dr. Raut has contributed to the field of medicine through his publications and research activities. One of his notable publications is titled "A community trial of Pinak in the management of snakebite cases in a rural setting of Western Maharashtra, India" (published in the International Journal of Medicine and Medical Sciences, April 2013).

In addition to his academic pursuits, Dr. Raut actively engages in research. In 2014, he conducted a clinical study on jaundice in pregnancy, which served as his thesis topic for MUHS (Maharashtra University of Health Sciences). He also conducted a trial on the use of Pinak for managing scorpion sting cases in tribal hilly areas of Bhimashankar.
